The Lore Event of 2024 was an event that released on 20th September, 2024, at 3:02 PM PDT, and lasted for two weeks, ending on 4th October, 2024, at 3:22 PM PDT. It was the second lore-centric event, following the Mystery of the Keys from the previous year, and included the return of Urzuk alongside the release of another Lore Event creature, Inkpujin. The event also featured missions that rewarded exclusive lore color palettes and a plushie, including the previously mentioned creatures.
Approximately 2 weeks before the event began, there was confirmation that Urzuk, alongside another Lore Event creature, would be obtainable during the event.
"Corrupted" Global Announcement, seen on all the servers
Approximately 40 minutes before the event itself began, several global announcements hinting at lore information about the event were broadcast to all servers. The messages described that the event involved fighting a darkness infection that was damaging and corrupting Sonaria and how the creatures in the map were set to fight and mend it. However, every message kept being tagged by Roblox filters until around 35 minutes before the update. This issue was salvaged by including it into the event as the corruption affecting Sonaria's broadcast pathways.

The texts translate to: "Darkness calls" "The veil grows weak"
Roughly 3 days before the event began, a piece of Inkpujin was revealed on Sonar Studios' Twitter with the message, "Inklings of scriptures are soon be unraveled..."

Part 1
Part 1 released on 20th September, 2024, at 3:02 PM PDT. The complete list of features added to this part are as follows:
Three event missions with the associated creature or item.
Addition of "Mystic Lore Pack" bundle, to the Premium Shop for 899 Robux.
During Part 1, this bundle included x1 Urzuk species, x1 Boreal's Bane material, and non-Lore Event exclusive items, such as the x1 Volcano Summon token and x2 certain palettes from Warden Shrines, that still carried some vague relation to lore figures.
Hours before Part 2 began, the bundle price changed to 1,099 Robux and contained x1 Urzuk species, x1 Angelic's Follower material, x1 Volcano Summon token, and x2 Warden's Curse palettes.
Addition of Corruption decor.
Addition of Map Infections and Cracks.
Addition of Blue Essences and their drop-off point.
Alongside the event, Mufolium was added, Kriprik was redesigned, the Heal Aura ability was added to the ability roster, and the minimap textures were updated again, bringing depth to its seas. As this was a more long-term update, the corruption was not included into the textures of the minimap.
During this part, it was confirmed that a new creature, Inkpujin, is related to the lore creature that players can unlock in the next part of the event.

Map Infestations and Cracks
Part 1 brought an updated map, with additional retexturing and meshes both on dry land and underwater, indicating that some sort of purple and violet crystal-like vine and root corruption was extending across Sonaria. While the biggest ones are just props, the smallest ones with "ATTACK!" or "HEAL!" above them are damageable or mendable (each bite to these structures always dealt 20 damage/heal, and when being destroyed/mended, they disappear and sometimes a purple lightning effect takes place; [Expand] for its sound) and play a more important role towards the missions:
The ones that look like mangled crystal buds of grass or bushes are Map Infections, and they must be destroyed to progress. 15 hits are required to take them down, as they have 300 HP. Attempting to use healing on this infection will neither help nor hinder progress done.
The ones that look like mangled corrupted lily pad flowers are infected Map Cracks, which must be mended to progress. 13 hits are required to mend them using the Healing Hunter ability, as they have 250 HP. Attempting to attack this infection without Healing Hunter will neither help nor hinder progress done, and using any other healing abilities is equally unsuccessful.
Both types of corruption are static, meaning that upon destruction/mending they will momentarily reappear in the same spots. They are also not client-sided, meaning other players can see and interact with these objects.
It is not required to fully destroy or mend them yourself to progress. Progress is gained as long as the creature has properly attacked/healed them at least once before the Map Infection/Map Crack gets destroyed/mended, allowing teamwork to be a viable strategy. Moreover, upon destruction, all the participants in healing/destroying will receive either the 5 Damage Infection or 5 Speed Infection status effect. If the creature already has one or the other, then the stack may be added to the status currently in effect instead. Damage Infection provides a 50% damage boost, while Speed Infection gives a 100% movement boost to all speeds.
By part 2, an extra %-chance reward was added: two miscellaneous items, plasma fragments for map infestations and metal fragments for map cracks.

Angel's Growth
Note
For some of the map locations it is the best to have read the Lore and Main World (Sonaria) first.
Blue Essence are shiny droplets that spawn at night in the Desert, Flower Cove, Jungle, Mountains, Rocky Drop, and Volcano Island. They will not appear until the player completes the Warden's Purge mission first. These droplets can be collected (E or Tap screen or X on Xbox) up to three at a time and delivered to the Blue Essence Dropoff Menhir, located on Volcano Island. Essence emits a sound when getting close to it, and a splash sound when collected and delivered. [Expand] for the sounds.

Key Locations and Conditions
All key locations are as follows, but are not visible except under certain situations:
The Angelic Warden key is located at the Crystal Cave (hidden behind the large waterfall) in Flower Cove and seems to be visible during the day for non-healers during any season, at least for Sturbi, and for healers during certain seasons.
The Eigion Warden key is located at Forgotten Shores, behind the easternmost leviathan cranium in the Paratethys sea (underwater Forgotten Shores sea), and is only visible at night.
Some of the pieces can only be detected by certain creatures. Since some of the requirements are not fully known, certain creatures that are confirmed to work or not work are mentioned instead:
The first piece is at Volcano Island, inside an opening in the ceiling of the main cave, and can only be seen by creatures with the Volcanic ability. The piece is a fragment of Inkpujin's tail tip.
The second piece is at Redwoods, beneath the rocks forming an arch next to the pond, and can be seen by Karakro and a few other creatures with the Strength In Numbers ability. The piece is a fragment of Inkpujin's paw.
The third piece is located at Forgotten Shores, at the edge of the land near the largest broken arch, and can be seen by healer creatures, as well as Sturbi. The piece is a fragment of Inkpujin's linens.
The fourth piece is located inside the tallest structure in Tundra and can be seen by creatures with the Burrower ability. The piece is a fragment of Inkpujin's tail.
The fifth piece is in a cave on the second-highest floating island above Rocky Drop and can be seen by creatures with the Keen Observer ability. The piece is a fragment of Inkpujin's head.

Minigames
Each minigame involving teleportation (such as the obby or the labyrinth) additionally gives a minigame status effect while on their areas, which disables damage, hunger, and thirst depletion, prevents the use of active abilities outside of jump/flight/glide/dart (also prevents sitting and laying down), and prevents any stamina depletion, ensuring a creature can run or jump non-stop.
Cauldron
The Cauldron minigame, located at north-west-west Central Rockfaces, consists of 7 cauldrons. Players must follow a series of recipe fragments scattered around the map to forge a series of fragments.
Two tilted cauldrons, both with end question mark symbols, are used to help players understand what to do. The one with a purple potion is the tutorial cauldron and explains the minigame purpose and what the other cauldron do, while the other cauldron with orange potion gives clues (in forms of a riddle) about where to find the fragments of the recipe. Each recipe fragment is part of a jigsaw puzzle with matching borders, helping to indicate the order in which to pour the ingredients. The last fragment will always have a text in Sonarian Font, which helps to clarify what recipe they refer to. Combined with the fact that each part is colored by the recipe they are a part of, makes it easy to know which fragments are part of each recipe. Do not try to follow someone else's recipe, for these are randomized between users:
First Recipe Hints lead to 2 recipe fragments: one inside a small cave that leads into the volcano, and another in the Desert Oasis, located in a small cave south of the Oasis pond proper. The last fragment has written the word "HEART".
Second Recipe Hints lead to 3 fragments, all located underwater (see gallery for more exact locations). The word "ARMOR" is engraved on the last fragment.
Third Recipe Hints lead to 4 fragments (see gallery for more exact locations). "SOUL" is written on the last fragment.
Completion hints: The Cauldron Minigame Hints stops giving clues after completing all the recipes.
The four smallest upright cauldrons are used to select which ingredients to pour. Each cauldron emits particles resembling the item they refer to. These cauldrons are grouped in pairs: Breath and Plasma fragments located on one side, and Metal and Life fragments on the other.
The Cauldron Mixer, the biggest one in the center of the cauldron congregation, is used to confirm the spending of ingredients to attempt to forge an item, and to cancel the forging and recover any already chosen items before being spent.
Each recipe must be followed in the correct sequence and order to get the desirable result, an Inkpujin fragment. Else, resources poured into the "mysterious concoction" from the Cauldron Mixer were just lost without nothing in return, indicating that it was the wrong mix; up until the 27th September quick patch, when that was no longer the case.
Alongside these cauldrons, there is a banner indicating how many ingredients are needed, which ones have been chosen, and in what order.

Obstacle Course
The Lore Event 2024 Obstacle Course minigame, with its portal located at the east of Central Rockfaces' lake, is an obby with checkpoints from 0 to 6, where 0 is the starting checkpoint and 6 is the finish checkpoint. Upon completion, there was a 35% chance of obtaining a Life Fragment prior to the 27th September quick patch, after which it became a 100% chance. Each checkpoint is optional but useful to interact with, as upon straying from the obby or falling, the game will teleport you back to the latest activated checkpoint. Alternatively, creatures can willingly leave the lobby before completion by clicking on the "Leave Obby" button.
It is mandatory to have a creature with jump, else the portal will not open - albeit it might be possible for a creature with both jump and flight to actually enter the obby, this is very situational. Additionally, if a creature has a low jump, a message pops up indicating that it may not be possible to complete the obby using only that creature.

The Warden's Labyrinth
The Warden's Labyrinth minigame, with its portal circle located at the southwest fringes of Central Rockfaces, closer to the Mesa and Desert's biome aspect, but closer to Redwoods and Mountains mission coverage area; consists of three frozen levels, each one bigger and darker (and with more fog and snowstorm effects) than the previous one. It's similar to the Halloween Event 2023 Labyrinth, but with only 1 actual rope per level, which moves every time the labyrinth is generated. Each player is given a limited time to find the rope and reach the next level (2 minutes for the first level, 2.5 minutes for the second, 3.5 minutes for the third). To help players, each rope presents a slight warm glow.
Unlike the Halloween Event one, the rope teleport is not client-side, allowing for teamwork finding one. Once all players have succeeded or failed to pass the labyrinth, they are teleported back to the portal, with a 20-second global-side cooldown to try again. During the cooldown, the Lore Event 2024 minigame status effect will be in effect for any creature approaching the portal circle.
Every time a labyrinth level is passed, there's a 25% chance to obtain a Breath Fragment. After the 27th September quick patch, it became a 100% chance after passing the labyrinth.
Each level also comes with its own music. See Soundtracks for their themes.

Trivia
The sound that plays when pressing (G or Click/Tap screen on respective G pop-up on Mobile) to speak to a Warden Shrine is from the PlayStation 4.
[Expand] for the sound.
The description of the Lore Event bundle says, "This bundle includes exclusive creatures and items from the Lore Event!". However, the bundle also included the Volcano Summon Token and the Warden's palettes, which are not exclusive to the Lore Event, as they can be obtained outside the event.
At the start of the event, the Getting Started message borrowed the background from the Summer Paradise Event's Getting Started message. However, this was fixed later on.
The Lore Event icon can be seen as a loading screen when entering or exiting the obby minigame.
