Appearance
The Hydroldaval is a quadrupedal creature with stout legs, which keeps this creature's body close to the ground. It has a protruding nose-like structure, reminiscent to the snout of a goblin shark, which is described as knife-like in its concept art. It has two pairs of three thick whiskers that sprout from the corners of its mouth and wrap around a small gold sphere. It has a thick eyebrow ridge that grows and rolls over its body to form a fin on its neck. It also as a finned tail which lies flat on the ground.
Growths similar to to hydrothermal vents and barnacles can be found in several areas of the Hydroldaval's body, such as its eyebrow ridge, its lower jaw, and along its back. In general, this creature is also covered in ornate details like golden bands/accents and scale patterns.
