Minigames[]
Halloween Obby[]
- Location: Mountains (Event Part 3)
- Task: Complete the Obby.
- When entering the obstacle course, the creature will receive the "Minigame" status effect, which will reduce hunger and thirst depletion by 95%, increase growth time by 1900% (almost freezing it), disable damage, and give 150% extra stamina regeneration.
- Fliers are not allowed entry.
- All active abilities of the buttons 1-6 are disabled.
- Sitting/laying down are disabled as well.
- Sniffing and eating are NOT disabled - this is useful for when another fellow creature dies and leaves some food for the next wanderer.
- Reward: Very high chance of Dantenos and candy (first time), after receiving Dantenos, none (following times)[1].
- Cooldown: 5 minutes.
This obby is arguably harsher than its Mystery of the Keys Event 2023 predecessor, not only because of the more mobile parts, but because there are certain areas which cannot be done by an adult creature unless it has jump power 3 or more (for reference, its predecessor could do it with a jump power just slightly below 2). However, there is not a space where you have to find a way through a maze of invisible walls, and there is a faster chance of completing this obby.
The use of Strafing can be extremely useful for traversing the narrowest areas.
Be careful, there's on cauldron immediately after one checkpoint where if you fall below you may get trapped inside and become softlocked unless you leave the maze.
Jerry's Trick-or-Treat[]
- Location: Volcano Island (Event Part 2)
- Task: Add the required ingredients (1 ghoul spirit, 1 pumpkin seed, and 1 werewolf fang) and select one of the 3 cauldrons for a prize.
- Selecting any cauldron seems to give randomly-chosen rewards, but there might be a pattern.
- Reward: Undead color palette, 15 Candy, Trick or Treat token, Wood Material Override.
- Cooldown: 5 minutes.
Maze[]
- Location: Desert
- Task: Find the correct exit point in a multi-level maze.
- When entering the maze, the creature will spawn at a random starting point and would receive the "Maze" status effect, which will reduce hunger and thirst depletion by 10%, increase growth time by 1900% (almost freezing it), disable damage, and give 100% extra stamina regeneration.
- During part 3, "Maze" was replaced by the "Minigame" status effect, which reduces hunger and thirst depletion by 95%, increase growth time by 1900% (almost freezing it), disable damage, and give 150% extra stamina regeneration.
- Each level must be completed within a set amount of time.
- The first 3 levels are 2 minutes.
- The fourth level is 4 minutes.
- The fifth level is 6 minutes.
- The sixth level is 7 minutes.
- The seventh level is 8 minutes.
- The eighth level is 12 minutes.
- There are various "exits" scattered throughout the maze, but only one of them will be unlocked on each level. Unless explicitly told otherwise, all exits have a cyan glow.
- Fliers are not allowed entry.
- All active abilities of the buttons 1-6 are disabled.
- Sitting/laying down are disabled as well.
- Sniffing and eating are NOT disabled - this is useful for when another fellow creature dies and leaves some food for the next wanderer.
- When entering the maze, the creature will spawn at a random starting point and would receive the "Maze" status effect, which will reduce hunger and thirst depletion by 10%, increase growth time by 1900% (almost freezing it), disable damage, and give 100% extra stamina regeneration.
- Reward: Guaranteed Candy currency, rare drop chance for Ghoul Spirits, per level. The further progress in the maze, the more candy earned.
- Part 2: also a very rare drop chance for Wixpectr'o upon completing each level.
- Part 3: Wixpectr'o is now not obtainable from completing a level, but from completing the entire maze.
- Ghoul Spirits can be viewed in your inventory under Misc Items.
- Ghoul Spirits have the description: "Rare Recipe Item for Halloween 2023 mission!".
- Cooldown: 15 minutes (parts 1 and 2), 8 minutes (part 3).
- This cooldown only applies if the maze is completed up to the end, or if the player presses the "leave maze" button. Failing the maze in time or menuing avoids the cooldown. This can be potentially used to farm levels faster for the Escape The Maze mission, at the cost of less total maze-travel rewards.
During the first week, 3 levels of easy mazes were introduced, and each following week will introduce more difficult mazes. During part 2, 3 new overgrown-themed floors were added. During part 3, 2 new levels were added, an ice maze, and an invisible maze; apart from changing the darkness/night visual effect by a thick dark green fog up to the ice maze.
- Regular dungeon mazes look like a flat castle dungeon, are mostly empty and only have some wall torches for illumination, as well as some rope and giant carcasses decorating end-points and rooms.
- Overgrown dungeons possess a lot of moss/grass-like and rocky decorations on the floor, have replaced the wall torches for glowing floor Jack O'Lanterns, and are not necessarily flat in surface, with some areas being elevated.
- The ice maze resembles the first maze levels, only bigger, with far more wide and empty corridors and rooms (with so far only ropes being spotted), a bluish/whitish fog, giant falling snowflake effects, and a general frozen feeling, with the ropes being partially covered in ice. These level's exits have a warmer red color that makes them easier to spot.
- The invisible maze has solid floors, walls, and ceiling for the boundary of the maze itself. This maze has a 2-floor system creatures will need to navigate to find the valid exist. There will be 3 entrances and exits with the total size of the maze being the same dimensions as Maze 3 (500x500) due to its more difficult nature.
It is recommended to play during the daytime for better vision to navigate easier, jumping may sometimes help if an area has poor vision due to decor obstacles, such as the overgrown flora, pumpkins and rocks; while on the last floor jumping may be necessary to access two of the three exits. A useful tactic is to do like on real-life caves, always stick to one side of the wall to travel the entire maze. If desperate, the use of the camera function can be extremely useful in seeing better and finding hidden exits.
- On the first three levels, there's little time so performing the stick-to-a-side trick will not usually work in time, especially on the third maze, which while still being easier, it has a more complex pattern - remembering the door's placements or using the camera to discover their locations is far faster and useful.
- On the overgrown mazes, the extra time makes the real-cave strategy ideal; and the amount of decor, elevations and rocky formations leaves the camera option a waste of time.
- On the ice maze, camera mode turns out extremely useful once again at spotting things, especially since the topology of that maze may make any creature using the stick-to-a-side technique wander in circles if they are not careful, and the size may make a creature waste a long time before noticing that they have stuck to the wrong wall.
- On the invisible maze, it is important to have the normal camera field of view inside an invisible wall, and preferably close to the ground, increasing the apparent reflectiveness of the walls and making them more visible - also helps with spotting invisible ramps and holes.
Do not worry about creatures flying up to the maze area — while they are not limited by the walls and their damage and abilities are not disabled, they still cannot harm those inside the maze.

Trivia[]
- This is the first event to contain a Premium-only mutation, Bewitched, whose premium item (Magic Frog), may allow other event-related mutations to happen to the user outside the event.
- During the first few hours of the events release, the maze had a now-patched bug where if you spam-clicked the correct exits, it would repeatedly give candies, and those candies remained.
- The map during that event can be found here.
Notes[]
- ↑ While this was not confirmed by developers, an entire server got the species first time. When checking with an account to verify, indeed, the species was obtained. Completing the obby after that gave no rewards of any kind. However, some people have reported they got it not on the first try, but a bit later on.
