The Easter Event of 2025 was an Easter Event and the game's fifth overall. The event began on 11th April 2025, at 1:03 PDT and ended on 9th May 2025 at 2:52 PDT.

Pre-release

The 2025 Easter Event was first mentioned outside of the new roadmap on 31st March 2025, where it was stated that there would be two new creatures, new palettes, materials, signatures, and a new plushie. Additionally, a live countdown for the Easter event was added on the April Fools' update. It was stated it would have similar features to Valentines Event 2025.

Part 1: Convarlia

Part 1 of the event was released on April 11th, 2025 and introduced Convarlia, a large land photocarnivore, the return of the Egg Egg currency, its own Event Shop, and the return of the new progression-based mission system.

The complete list of features added to this part are as follows:

Unrelated to the event the Flixlit redesign was released within the same update.

Part 2: Dalitil

Part 2 of the event was released on 18th April 2025, at 1:05 PDT. The complete list of features added to this part are as follows:

  • New Catch the Magic Bunny minigame added.
  • Addition of Dalitil as a new Easter Special creature
  • Fabráashé added to the mission tracker.
  • Verdant Warden was added to the shop, but it was locked until April 21st,

Unrelated to the event, the Maiueve's redesign was released.

Part 3: Verdant Catchup

Part 3 of the event was released on 25th April 2025, at 1:05 PDT. The complete list of features added to this part are as follows:

  • Verdant Warden is also added to the mission tracker.
  • Catchup bundle added to the Event Shop.

Unrelated to the event, the Morthorax was released.

Mission Points Tracker System

Added in Part 1, the event mission system for this event is accessible via either the event button or the mission system button. It requires obtaining Egg Easter Points via completion of certain tasks in order to obtain specific rewards in a linear progression. Once you reach the end, you may choose to rebirth to do it all over again, which in this event is required to reach certain goals. Tasks need to completed by any creature you have in your inventory, where each species can obtain up to 200 Easter Points before you must move onto the next species. Like the Valentines Event 2025 version, the limit is refreshed by rebirthing and also sometimes randomly refreshes on its own (with a mid-weekday refresh, usually on Wednesday being guaranteed).

Unlike the previous Valentine's Event, Egg Easter Points required to obtain each reward change according to the formula , that is, increases linearly by 10% per rebirth. Additionally, completing the mission tracker seems to NOT required to unlock rewards on the event shop, except Verdant Warden.

Minigames

Chocolate Egg Delivery

The Chocolate Egg Delivery minigame, introduced in part one of the event, involves finding chocolate eggs scattered around main map. Players can interact (E or Tap screen or X on Xbox) to collect only 5 chocolate eggs at a time. The chocolate eggs can be viewed in the player's inventory under Misc Items tab. These eggs must then be taken to the large egg basket located in the Swamp Hill. 5 eggs total are required in order to get one of the possible rewards:

Please add the spawn locations of the eggs if they are static!

Catch the Magic Bunny

Bunnies spawn once every 7 minutes randomly around the map, with the splash message "CATCH THE BUNNIES" displaying on screen, but not in chat. The bunnies are all client-sided, and you have three minutes to catch all 10 of them before they all despawn. You must touch them to "catch" them, for Egg 20 Easter Points and 20 Egg Easter Eggs each. Breaths don't count. The bunnies will hop in random directions, and have no animations. They also have an icon on the minimap that disappears when each one is caught. Their minimap icon is labeled "Hopping Bunny". When they are caught, the bunnies let out a cry that is very similar to a Pikmin.

Initially on this minigame's release, spawning while the minigame was active would cause bunnies to fly, and for you to receive no rewards upon catching them. Luckily, it was patched out as of Part 3's release at the latest.
