The Artifact Shop is a special Shop feature from the Main Menu that allows the purchase of creatures with an initial expensive price in shooms, which can be lowered by obtaining certain mission-based items called artifacts. These missions do not have a guaranteed chance to drop their respective artifact (except Warden Jewels/Stones). All Artifacts are consumed upon purchase of their respective creature (Ex. All Air/Storm Artifacts are consumed if a player purchases a Megalodystrix from the Artifact Shop).

There are currently 26 creatures in the Artifact Shop.

Artifacts

Artifacts are items used to lower the cost of creatures in the Artifact Shop. The effects of artifacts on the same creature to buy are not cumulative, but done via multiplication (·) of the initial value as many times as artifacts recovered (instead of stacking (+) a set value to a multiplier).

Where σi is the reduction factor of a specific artifact (i), and N is the total number of artifacts collected.

As early 2025, a maximum cap of 20 was implemented for all artifacts in an attempt to curb the ability of bot farmers, cheaters, and hard-core grinding to make the prices in the shop miniscule, especially at release of new artifact creatures. This change was contentious among the community as it forced players to engage with other mechanics of the game that were considered more tedious or difficult. Gaining artifacts above 20 is halted, but players who had over 20 of any artifact at the time of implementation kept this amount, unable to gain any more, until purchasing an artifact species and setting their artifact count back to 0.
