Introduction

Aquatic creatures, AKA known as "Sea" or "Ocean" creatures, are the second rarest main mobility type.

Their designated Gacha is the Sea Gacha (Legacy) / Aquatic Gacha/Sea Gacha (Recode, with that new gacha having both names). However, they may possibly be obtained from any other Gacha except for Sky and Semi-Aquatic as a rule.

Legacy Mode

All aquatic creatures share these characteristics:

  • These creatures are able to walk (swim underwater) and run (swim faster) on any terrain, regaining stamina while they stop running on any terrain (underwater being the prime example). However, outside water (Should they "beach" themselves... that includes not touching any terrain) they are extremely slowed down and suffer "beached" damage, akin to drown damage in terms of speed and %dps. They excel underwater, their native niche, not losing stamina by staying there nor drowning from running out of stamina.
  • These creatures can always regain stamina faster underwater or on dry land by resting (sitting or laying down, with laying down usually being the most effective).
  • Carnivores are also capable of using ambush, but it won't work unless they charged the ambush outside water.
  • They can sit and lay down even in the air.
  • They are also immune to the hypothermia dmg when trying to enter water during Winter and Famine, but can still "drown" by getting encased in ice during Winter.
  • They have Aquatic Nests, and can nest everywhere, not needing any kind of surface terrain (and thus, even capable of nesting in the air).
  • Due to being underwater, they do not need to drink (one of the reasons they can be used for AFK-farming, apart from being able to see fish and the ocean being rather underpopulated).
  • All aquatic creatures are planned to have stats of other non-aquatic creatures aproximately 1 tier above their own, so technically Aquatics are a tier higher than the tiers listed in their stats.
  • Possibly as a bug or an oversight, their mist-like blood is always a shade of red regardless of their real blood or meat color.

This group is comprised of 17 creatures.

Recode Mode

All aquatic creatures share these characteristics:

  • These creatures are able to walk (swim underwater) and run (swim faster through Sprint, Ambush or Dart) on any terrain, regaining stamina while they stop running on any terrain (underwater being the prime example). However, outside water (Should they "beach" themselves... that includes not touching any terrain while not performing a Dart or Jump) they are extremely slowed down.
    • Unlike Legacy, they don't suffer "beached" damage.
  • They excel underwater, their native niche, not losing stamina by staying there, nor drowning from running out of stamina, and most, if not all of them, do not have an oxygen bar to lose.
  • They lack any visible water bar to care of, nor does it show when hovering above the areas where it would have been. As such, they do not need to worry about drinking water nor many effects.
  • These creatures can always regain stamina faster underwater on dry land or in the sky by resting (sitting (x2 more stamina regeneration) or laying down (x4 more stamina regeneration)).
  • All of them are planned to have a space-bar ability.
    • If they have a Space-bar ability (which they most likely do), it is Dart, set as their primary Space-bar ability, and cannot be triggered while beached.
  • If they can Sprint, it can be activated on any terrain, including the air.
  • If they have Ambush, they can initiate and be ambushing both underwater and outside water.
  • They can sit and lay down even in the air.
  • They can emote both underwater and outside water.
    • When emoting outside water, they can also keep moving while emoting, something no other mobility type as of 27th September 2023 can do.
  • They have Aquatic Nests, and can nest and place territories everywhere, not needing any kind of surface terrain (and thus, even capable of nesting and placing territories on the air).
  • All aquatic creatures are planned to have stats of other non-aquatic creatures aproximately 1 tier above their own, so technically Aquatics are a tier higher than the tiers listed in their stats.
  • All aquatic carnivore creatures are also planned to have Latch and Grab ability.
  • While they cannot drown nor asphyxiate, they might be still able to suffer damage from getting encased in ice during Winter.
  • Unlike legacy mode, their mist-like blood underwater is always their real blood or meat color. However, they still drop liquid-like blood outside water.
  • Most, if not all of them, are susceptible to being dehydrated from lack of moisture.

This group is comprised of 23 creatures.

Aqua-Gliders

Aqua-Gliders are a special Aquatic sub-group added after the 20th January 2024 update, which is basically Aquatic Mobility Type creatures with Glide Ability, but no Flight Ability (those would be labeled as a sub-group under the Flier Category instead).

This sub-group is comprised of 3 creatures.
