Burrows were first announced on 12/08/2020. They were scrapped shortly after Legacy game Early Access ended and was kept for archival purposes. However, the idea was brought back in Recode.
Burrows were a scrapped planned ability for Tier 1 creatures.
Description[]
Burrows would have been an ability that allowed tier 1 creatures to create an individual space underground to hide in. All tier 1 creatures could have created burrows and could have had the ability to enter into another's burrow, but only certain ones would have had the ability to expand their burrow.
Layout[]
Burrows would have featured 5 possible spaces that could be created. Each space had 2 locations that would have been dug out, save for the nesting chambers, which would have required 3 locations to be dug out. Each new location would have taken around 1-5 minutes to be dug out.
Main Chamber[]
The first that would have been made when a burrow is created would had been labeled 'Main chamber', and it would have acted as either the sole room in a burrow or the entryway, depending on whether the creature would have been able to expand burrows. The main chamber would have housed four burrow support columns. The layout given shows that each column could have withstood 10 hits before crumbling. Upon their destruction, the entire burrow would have collapsed, meaning it would possibly have taken 40 hits to destroy an entire burrow.
Secondary and Tertiary Teleports[]
- N/A
Garden Room[]
- This room would have acted as the burrow's food storage.
Nesting Quarters[]
- This room would have had private dens for female creatures to nest in.
