Artist Headcanon
- They believe that the light from the sun makes them and their environment purer and cleaner. Additionally, sunlight is warm.
Appearance
The Banishii is a dragon-like creature with an upright stance and some squamate (specifically varanid) features, a somewhat hunched back with small legs, and feathered larger front arms. It has two feathery wings with seemingly five (5) fingers each. It has arrow-shaped spikes coming out from the neck and tail, with those on top of the tail's base being the longest and most sharp-looking. Its head presents large appendages, smaller the closer to the snout, and a horn between its snout bridge and forehead, with two (2) floating rings going through the horn. Its black tongue flickers out of its mouth, similar to snakes or monitor lizards. Banishii is also adorned with one silver ring on each hand. The Banishii's hind talons are largely similar to those of the Bazelii, possibly hinting at the fact of being its counterpart. Another hint of this is the star on the Banishii's palm, which corresponds with the eye on Bazelii's palm.
Males
Males have an arrow-like decoration under the tip of their lower jaw.
Females
Females have no additional features.
Abilities
Main Article: Creature Abilities
This section is intended to list and describe the abilities of the Banishii. (editor list)
- Ambush is a recode-only ability that allows a temporary speed boost according to an ambush multiplier inherent to the species. It can be toggled by pressing the correct active ability key, which may vary between creatures. It automatically deactivates after either a set period of time, when stamina runs out, or after halting movement, whichever happens first. Ambush can be used while sprinting. Activating the ability while another instance of the ability is active will not stack max time and stamina consumption. Additionally, Ambushing disrupts strafing.
- Bleed Block/Block Bleed is a percentage based passive ability that grants the user resistance to getting bleed status from melee attacks at minimum. If an attacker deals 5 bleed per hit and the receiver has 60% Block Bleed, then the receiver gets only 2 of that 5 bleed. This ability is gained gradually as the creature ages. If a creature's Block Bleed is 100%, then they are immune to Bleed inflicted by melee direct attacks once fully grown. If a creature's Block Bleed is negative, it may indicate an extra vulnerability to the status effect.
- Corrosion Attack/Corrosion Bite is an ability that offensively deals Corrosion when biting. It stacks with itself. A negative value means that it heals an amount of such status upon biting.
- Flight is an active ability pertaining to the special control Jump/Dart/Glide/Flight that is inherent to all Fliers. Creatures with a flight ability cannot jump and instead enter flight or glide mode. However, some creatures may also present the jump ability replacing the flight one as the dominant at some point in their life stage. Flying and takeoff both take stamina, but gliding does not. If a creature does not possess enough stamina, it cannot fly. A creature with flight can switch between flight and glide.
- Glide is an active ability pertaining to the special control Jump/Dart/Glide/Flight and inherent to all gliders and glider semi-aquatics. Flier creatures have this ability as well, but can only be toggled by pressing (F on PC or
on Mobile) or the respective button on mobile after initializing flight. Creatures with glide ability cannot jump, unless it supersedes them via an age value. Depending on some creature factors like tier and glide stamina regeneration, as well as some environmental conditions, a creature can or cannot regain stamina while gliding. - Poison Attack is a passive ability that makes the user deal Poison Status to another creature upon biting them. It stacks with itself. A negative value means that it heals an amount of such status upon biting.
- Speed Blitz is an active ability that will consume half of the user's stamina bar if it is above 50% and apply 6 stacks (18 seconds) of the Speed Blitz Status. It has a 90 second cooldown.
- Strength In Numbers is a passive ability that gives the user a 7% stamina regeneration boost and a 1.5% damage boost. It stacks according to how many creatures with the same ability and species are nearby. If there are no other users with this ability nearby, it will not provide the boost.
Carry-able Creatures
The Can-Carry lists features lists of creatures that Banishii is carried by, can carry (grab), can latch, and can be latched by in RECODE. To see the lists and their toggles to view each, click on the collapsible text to the right of the table below, to Expand or Collapse the list.
Can-Grab ListThis section is intended to list the non-elder fully-grown adult creatures that the non-elder fully-grown Banishii can grab and carry (pick-up), taking into account if this creature has grab/latch and discounting any other special abilities. The Banishii (a(n) carnivore) is a tier 4 with 3000 lbs of weight and as long as it has the Grab Ability, it can pick up any creature of lower or equal tier with enough lighter weight difference.* There is no creature which the Banishii can currently carry
Grabbed-By ListThis section is intended to list the non-elder fully-grown adult creatures that can grab and thus carry a non-elder fully-grown adult Banishii taking into account grab/latch abilities and discounting special abilities. The Banishii (a(n) carnivore) is a tier 4 with 3000 lbs of weight and can be picked up by any creature of higher or equal tier with enough heavier weight difference and the Grab ability, as follows:[ Expand Collapse ] Carry-able by:
Can-Latch ListThis section is intended to list the non-elder fully-grown adult creatures that the non-elder fully-grown Banishii can latch into, but not carry; taking into account latch/grab abilities and discounting any other special ability. The Banishii (a(n) carnivore) is a tier 4 with 3000 lbs of weight and as long as it has the Latch ability, it can latch into any creature of higher tier with enough heavier weight difference.* There is no creature which the Banishii can currently grab but not carry
Latched-By ListThis section is intended to list the non-elder fully-grown adult creatures that can grab but not carry (latch onto) the non-elder fully-grown Banishii discounting special abilities. The Banishii (a(n) carnivore) is a tier 4 with 3000 lbs of weight and can be latched onto by any creature of lower tier and enough lighter weight difference. However, carnivores and photocarnivores cannot be grabbed by herbivores and photovores, as follows:[

Trivia
- Concept by CatasticalCalamity.
- Inspired by SandWings, spiky fences, and snakes.
- When Wolfragon announced Banishii, he mistook it for Yin (darkness and corruption), though it is supposed to be Yang.
- According to the artist, some Banishii often have dark snake-like patterns but are never completely dark in color. Banishii has some subspecies that resemble different types of snakes, depending on their environment and evolution.
- Modeled by JaxonBirb.
- Animations by BlckBrryJam.
- Although Banishii's tail was initially the only part of its model to be revealed, Wolfragon revealed its full model after JaxonBirb's reaction ratioed the original post on Discord.
- Reanimations by Aphauxin.
- Banishii has black textured blood. Due to that, when dying in the Legacy version of the game, drops a black carcass- this trait is partially shared with the Novus Warden, who also has black blood in Legacy but is untextured.
- No real-life creature has this color exactly, albeit hemoglobin (which gives red blood to mammals)-venous blood can get somewhat close. An example of this, though not the only one, would be the Ayam Cemani, an Indonesian chicken breed with fibromelanism, which makes them totally black from the inside out; the only non-black things about them is their white eggs and red blood, though the latter is commonly mistaken to be black because of its very dark red color.
- Banishii previously had untextured yellow blood. Due to that, when dying, it dropped a yellow carcass.
- This color can be seen in real life in some creatures with vanabin (a yellow pigment) on their blood, like sea cucumbers.
- Banishii is the fifth non-Developer Robux creature.
- Banishii is the first non-plush creature in the Robux Shop, a trait it shares with its Yin-themed counterpart, Bazelii.
- Both the Banishii and its counterpart, the Bazelii, share multiple traits:
- The "ba" prefix and double "i" suffix.
- According to the artist, both are highly intelligent and share the same system of having a queen.
- Model-wise, both are varanid-like hexapodal creatures with two frontal arms, two back legs, and one pair of wings.
