It seems fixed by now (on my side at least), but there was an issue of content coming from other communities and also affecting our tags. The CoS wiki is still well intact otherwise, and this was just a Fandom issue.

For clarification this was something asked of us by Sonar staff a while ago.
EDIT: Specifically, we were told that species x species (shipping ALL of x with ALL of y) makes the creators uncomfortable.
Hybrids existing is fine, that's an OC.
OCs x OCs are fine, it just has to be clear that they are OCs.

Updated rule 12 to allow artists to ask each other for advice in the Q+A section, since there really isn't any better place to ask advice other than throwing it out where people can actually see it. Any art examples must be Sonaria related.

Going forward, posts that complain about specific developers in a way that is considered negative and not constructive will be deleted and treated as a regular call-out post. Rule 3 has been updated to reflect this.
Breaking and griefing our pages has now been added to our editing policy as Rule 6. While it was always an "unsaid rule," we have now updated the page to reflect what we actually moderate on.

Moderator applications are once again open. They will close after a week (on 12/27).
Both thread moderator and content moderator applications are open. A reminder that you must have a Discord account and be active on it in order to apply!
Additionally, we have changed the age requirement to be 17+ in order to adequately protect everyone on the wiki, moderators included. Everyone under 17 from past batches is still allowed to be a moderator due to grandfathering.

As you may have seen, Fandom had a massive outage for a little less than a hour. Do not fear if you saw your profile and message walls blanked: everything has been restored. It was a server issue on Fandom's end from the look of it, and it affected everyone. If you would like to discuss the issue, please do so on message walls or in this thread.
Just know that your accounts were not hacked and that your networks were not blocking Fandom. It was completely on their end!

As some of you may know, there was a temporary rule put in place that disallowed the mention of CoS Youtubers and screenshots of YouTube thumbnails. After several months and some discussion, we have decided to repeal this rule, as it is no longer needed.
Please remember:
All posts concerning CoS content creators must be respectful
They must not cause drama
Be aware that content creators can come onto this wiki and see any criticism you make about them. We cannot not stop them from commenting or making videos on said criticism.

We are now using a points system for moderation, aka the headache meter. The intention of the points system is to allow us more flexibility in handling users on a case by case basis beyond the rigidity of a "three strikes, you're out" system.
There is no specific amount of points you need to achieve to get an indefinite ban, instead the points are to keep track of how much of a general headache someone is being. The higher the number, the more likely you might get a permanent ban, but it really depends on what exactly you've been doing wrong.
Blocks, in turn, are no longer automatically issued after 3 warnings. Instead, we will block if we think you need a chill pill. Being blocked also accumulates points in itself.
